Tuesday.
The day I went downtown to buy the giveaway scarves, I passed through the market and took these photos.....
Also the season for.....higos (figs).
These I have for breakfast with plain yougurt,
honey, and amaranto. Mmmmm.

Here the owner of the stall is
using a knife to remove or
"clean" the nopales of its spines.
Afterwards thay are cut up and boiled in water,
and made for a cold salad or with a salsa.

And as I said before, it's really easy to win with me.
Only two commented for the giveaway.
So they will recieve the scarf of their choice.
Congrats!!!
I still have most of them left, so I will give it another try till Friday.
You can pass along the information......
And hope you're having a beautiful Tuesday!!

Yay, thanks, Angie. I would like one of the non-shiny matte ones--as multi-colored as possible :)
We have a pomegranate bush in our yard yet but the pomegranates don't look ready yet. Yours must be ahead of us.
Cool, thank you!
Oh I love the granadas, but unfortunately they don´t grow in Germany.
I have never eaten Nopales or prickly pears...
May I win an original mexican scarve, too? ;)
It´s only a joke, the shipping costs to Germany would be much to expensive!
Congratulations to your 100th post!
Of course, Luna, I'm already sending one to Hungary! It is not too expensive by normal postage. It takes a little longer, but it works. Send me your complete address to may e-mail, and let me know which one you would like.
